鎳鉻線加熱器是一段絕緣的鎳鉻線，兩端帶波紋式銅接頭，避免鎳鉻線焊接的不便。通常將線加熱器沿柱狀物纏繞，需要仔細(xì)地將整段加熱器進(jìn)行熱沉，通常使用Stycast環(huán)氧樹脂來提供熱連接，尤其是在鎳鉻線加熱器的兩端需要很好的熱連接。鎳鉻線加熱器通常從中間對折固定，這樣即使在大電流流過時也不會產(chǎn)生強(qiáng)磁場。線加熱器有50歐姆和25歐姆兩種類型。
